Impact Student Partners is a national Non‑Medical Help provider supporting universities, assessors and students. We deliver personalised, high‑quality support through experienced professionals who understand individual needs and help people progress throughout their academic journey.
Putting students first
Impact Student Partners was founded in 2026 by Charlie Bentham-Wood after over a decade in the student support sector, working with higher education institutions to provide students with quality support to help them excel.
The goal was simple. Build a service that puts students first.
Following a long career in student support, Charlie wanted to build something different: a national provider that puts people before processes and takes a personalised approach to supporting every student.
Recognising the barriers disabled students can face throughout their university journey, he created Impact Student Partners to deliver tailored, student‑centred support through a carefully selected network of experienced support professionals.
Today, we take the time to understand each student’s individual needs, preferences and goals, creating positive partnerships that help them maximise their potential.

Charlie
CEO
Charlie has spent over 12 years building one of the strongest‑performing student support teams in the UK, driven by a passion for helping people progress that first took shape after university. His strong relationships across higher education and commitment to student success led him to launch Impact Student Partners in 2026, where he continues to help every student maximise their potential.
Outside of work, Charlie is a proud dad, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu enthusiast, and an unapologetic coffee lover.
Maya
Relationship Manager
Maya graduated with a degree in Forensic Psychology but unexpectedly found her passion in student and disability support, going on to build experience across recruitment, account management and DSA Needs Assessing. She loves getting to know people, building strong relationships and providing a personalised approach that helps every student access the support that’s right for them.
Outside of work, she’s usually at reformer Pilates, enjoying the outdoors while walking her dog or planning her next holiday.
Matteo
Student Support Specialist
Matteo is a Psychology graduate from the University of Manchester and is responsible for recruiting specialist support workers and matching them with students who need additional support throughout their academic journey. Alongside his role at Impact Student Partners, he volunteers as a befriender in the Didsbury area and is passionate about building meaningful, supportive relationships.
Outside of work, Matteo enjoys reading horror, philosophy and classic literature, going to the gym, and taking long walks with his dog.
