Impact Student Partners is a national Non‑Medical Help (NMH) provider working with universities, assessors and students across higher education. We’re registered as an NMH provider and listed by the Department for Education and Student Finance England.
The most important part? You’re matched with someone who feels right for you, not just whoever is free. When you’re navigating university life, that fit can make all the difference.
University brings enough challenges without having to worry whether your support feels right. That’s why we take the time to understand your needs, preferences and goals before matching you with the right support worker.
You deserve support that fits around you, not the other way around.
Starting university can feel overwhelming. New routines. Academic pressure. Social expectations. You don’t have to navigate it alone.
Your support is personalised, flexible and shaped around what you need.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach, as every student is different.
Here’s what some of the students have to say about the support they have received through Impact Student Partners.
“I’ve finally got my first solid 2:1 grading with the assignment you first helped me with…. I’m so happy!! Thank you so much for your support.”
University of Bolton
“It has been so straightforward to arrange times and build rapport with my mentor. My confidence has taken a lot of knocks over the years but these sessions have been helping me build trust and gain confidence again.”
Waverley Abbey College
“My support sessions have been really beneficial, and I feel my tutor and mentor are a really great fit for me.”
University of Surrey

Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA) are grants that help pay for extra equipment and support you may need while studying in higher education. DSA is typically awarded as a result of a disability, long‑term health condition, sensory impairment, mental‑health condition or learning difficulty.
Once your DSA is approved, you’ll receive a letter detailing the support you’re entitled to, which can include specialist mentoring or study skills sessions tailored to your needs. You can then contact an approved provider like Impact Student Partners, who will match you with the right professional and help you manage your support throughout your course.
Recognising the barriers disabled students can face throughout their university journey, Impact Student Partners delivers high-quality, bespoke support. This is provided through a selected network of experienced support professionals.
You can access personalised Non‑Medical Help (NMH) support, including mentoring, study skills, tutoring and ADHD/AuDHD‑specific support. Everything is shaped around your needs and goals.
You’re matched based on fit, not only qualifications. We look at your learning style, communication preferences, and what helps you feel most comfortable.
Your support can be increased, reduced or adapted at any point, whatever helps you feel supported. You’ll have regular check-ins to ensure everything is working for you.
